Incredible Footage Of A 36-Week-Old Baby In The Womb.

I still remember the first time I felt what my grandma referred to as the "quickening." I was around 18 weeks and my husband was at work. I was laying in bed scrapbooking future plans for my baby's room when I felt a butterfly flutter followed by a pretty swift kick in my gut.

"Oh!" I exclaimed. "Hello, James."

As baby James grew inside me, his fluttering turned into full-fledged karate chops and somersaults. By 36 weeks, he was shifting in me in a way that's similar to the footage you're about to see. (My son is now 3 and he's EVERY BIT as rambunctious as he was in my tummy!)

"We probably shot close to 3 hours of footage of Toren moving inside Debi," the excited parents who shot this video shared on their Youtube page, "We got some pretty good footage, but this shot – directly at her belly – is hands down the best."

As a mom, this brought back warm and fuzzy memories of my pregnancy, the time when I felt a certain type of closeness with my child that's difficult to put into words. If you aren't a mother, I still think you can appreciate the beauty of this baby video…even if you can't see the baby yet!
