This NBA-Hopeful’s Dream Was Just Crushed By A Devastating Diagnosis. What Happens At 1:00 Touched My Heart.

Isaiah Austin recently graduated from Baylor University, where he was their basketball team's star player. For his entire life he waited for the moment of the NBA draft, but just days before the 2014 draft, where he was expected to be one of the #1 picks, Austin was hit with some tragic medical news.  Due to circumstances beyond his control, Austin was not drafted into the NBA. His lifelong dream shattered before his eyes, as he was diagnosed just DAYS before the draft with rare genetic disorder Marfan syndrome.

He will never be able to play for the NBA, but that doesn't mean he shouldn't get the recognition he deserves. When the 2014 NBA draft rolled around, it was extremely emotional for Austin, but he did not expect them to honor him in such a sweet way. Although he won't be playing basketball next year, Austin did have his name called and received that moment he had dreamed about his entire life. When asked what his plan was he beautifully responded that he was going to take this opportunity to help others. This is what a star looks like!

To honor this amazing basketball player and wish him luck on his long journey ahead, please SHARE this emotional video with others.
