Dad Builds His Two Little Tykes A Tire Seesaw!

All you crafty moms and dads out there are going to love this one. There isn't a single kid who wouldn't give their mama and papa a great big old hug if they ever did this. Rugged dad Rob Palmer completed this project for less than $50, using only a tire, a slab of wood, and some glue. Instead of ditching an old used tire, you'll want to make this epic tire seesaw. If you're looking to revamp you're garden, try making these garden planters. When this devoted dad presents the new toy to his kids they can't stop cheering in excitement.

First, Rob uses a saw to cut the tire in half. You'll only need one half for the project. Next he primes, then spray-paints it red. The handy dad uses a saw to trim the sides of a slab of wood so that it isn't too wide for the kiddos' legs. He adds two handles using wood glue and screws, then he attaches the half tire (round side down) to the wooden plank. Rob spray-paints the wood in the same red. Then finally the seesaw testers get to try out Daddy's invention. Looks like it's an A+ from Rob's son and daughter.
