When Toni Warne was only nine years old, she sang for 17 million television viewers on the British show Opportunity Knocks, and she never stopped performing, hoping that one day she'd return to a big stage.
However, Toni was diagnosed with alopecia at a young age. The disease caused Toni to lose all her hair, making her dream of being in the spotlight a little more difficult. As you can see in the following video, that only made Toni try harder. She practiced singing for two decades before making her comeback.
In 2012, the gospel and soul singer was featured on The Voice UK and blew everyone away with her incredible voice and even stronger attitude. Toni is the perfect example of a person overcoming life's harder times in pursuit of their dreams.
In this clip, Toni performs Creedence Clearwater Revival's classic song "Proud Mary." No one in the audience saw this amazing performance coming — and neither did I!
