Inseparable Twin Brothers Both Choose Careers In Law Enforcement

Twins often grow up doing just about everything by each other's side. And it was no different for Mark and Matt Stegman, identical twin brothers born in April 25th, 1976, in Nebraska.

"I always had someone to go out and play with. We were big into sports as kids so we would go outside and play football, basketball, baseball, anything, tag," Matt told Lance's Journal. "As a little kid, I always had someone to play with, someone to get in trouble with someone to blame stuff on, it was great."

But the Stegman twins took it a step further when they grew older as they both chose the same passion, much like the Italian brothers who are going viral for their singing talent. Mark and Matt both became police officers, something they knew they wanted to do from a young age. In 1998, they also received a degree in criminal justice from University of Nebraska at Kearney.

Mark is now a cop at the Grand Island Police Department, while his brother works for the Lincoln Police Department.

"I have an older brother that's in law enforcement, too," Matt said. "It's kind of one of the things we've always wanted to do is help people and give back to the community that gave so much to us."
