Hidden Cameras Catch A Veteran Defending Freedom Of Religion

In this shocking video, a customer makes a derogatory comment about the Muslim cashier. He expects the veteran, in uniform, to join in on the harsh remarks with him.

"I don't want a terrorist touching my food or taking my order," the man says. When the veteran approaches the register the man tells him, "Don't get with this guy, he's a Muslim."

The vet laughs. Then he says something amazing: "We live in America. He can have any religion he wants."

When the man is persistent about the cashier being a "terrorist," the veteran finally steps in and shows his true colors: The vet tells the offensive man to leave.

"You have the choice to shop anywhere. Just like he has the choice to practice his religion anywhere. That's the reason I wear the uniform. So anyone can leave free in this country," the veteran says proudly.

Soldiers are constantly put in situations where they have to behave honorably, but it's always great for us civilians when cameras can capture those moments.

When cameras caught Army Capt. Will Swenson's kind gesture while saving a brother, he sparked national reverence.

This vet didn't know he was being filmed, either, but he still behaved admirably. Host John Quinones, of What Would You Do?, a series that puts ordinary people in controversial situations to see what choices they will make, emerges with the camera and tells the vet that the man and the cashier were actually actors.
