Video Resurfaces From 2015 With Original ‘Aladdin’ Actors Singing ‘A Whole New World’

The original Princess Jasmine and Aladdin had a special reunion after 23 years, singing the hit classic, "A Whole New World" by Alan Menken in 2015. Now, the video is resurfacing, and we're not mad about it! The two sang for the characters of Aladdin and Jasmine when they were only 19 and 21 years old.

They came back together for a performance of the song on Good Morning America, and the video is evidence that their voices haven't changed at all. Talk about nostalgic. They were accompanied by the Oscar-winning composer who played the piano during this exclusive reunion performance.

Brad and Lea performed the song together at the 65th Annual Academy Awards in 1993, which is when “A Whole New World” won the award for Best Original Score. That year, the song also earned the Grammy for Song of the Year.

The cast from the Aladdin movie also appeared at the exclusive performance. They stood to the side of the piano while Brad and Lea performed the song.
