The legal team for Prince Andrew has been hit with yet another serious blow as a new witness has come forward claiming she saw the royal in a nightclub with a teen girl on the night Virginia Giuffre claims she was in exactly that situation.
Shukri Walker has told Giuffre's lawyer she witnessed Prince Andrew "with a young girl around the time that plaintiff contends Prince Andrew abused her in London after visiting Tramp Nightclub." Walker has indicated she is more than willing to testify as such.
The testimony is especially relevant because Prince Andrew's team has tried to argue such an arrangement never happened. "Because Prince Andrew has denied ever meeting plaintiff or being at Tramp Nightclub during the relevant time period, Ms Walker’s testimony is highly relevant," Giuffre's legal team said.
Walker also has a clear memory of the night. Her lawyer explained, "My client says she was there and she remembers the night clearly because she never saw a royal before or since. She says Prince Andrew was happy, smiling and dancing, and Virginia did not look happy. My client was a trafficking victim herself and wants everyone to know that sex trafficking is real, ongoing and devastating."
Walker has also shared all of the information she plans to testify on with the United States.
This isn't the only witness that Giuffre's legal team is hoping to call. They have additionally asked the judge in the case for assistance in locating a former aide of Prince Andrew, Robert Olney.
Giuffre's team believes that Olney can shed light on "relevant information about Prince Andrew’s relationship with Jeffrey Epstein" and about where Prince Andrew was and wasn't traveling to.
This update follows the news that Prince Andrew's attempt to have the case against him dismissed has failed and that the Queen has stripped her son of his military and royal titles. Several are calling on Prince Andrew to give up his state-funded security detail as well.
