Bathrooms are a practical part of society, right? We used to have to go outside in outhouses, or even just in the open somewhere, but modern plumbing has changed that all for the better.
But as time goes on, bathrooms have become a place to express one's personal style, or for a restaurant or a bar to add a little something unique to their establishment. Haven't you ever walked into the restroom of a hip restaurant and said to yourself, "This is an amazing bathroom!"?
Usually it's the lighting, the tiles, or the style of sink that we turn to to decorate a bathroom. But there's one thing that usually stays more or less the same: the toilet.
That isn't always the case, though! Some folks have taken their toilets far beyond what is expected of the appliance and turned them into pieces of art.
These 13 toilets are so strange that you just might re-think what a toilet really stands for. Or maybe not, but they are still pretty darn impressive.
