Getting dinner with your family is supposed to be a time to bond and enjoy some food.
Teeneshia Bush brought her 15-year-old son to Wendy's for dinner one night. He ordered their food and was confused when everyone behind the counter laughed at him.
It wasn't until he saw the name written on his receipt that he understood. An employee had written "lil ugly dude" instead of his actual name.
Shaming people is never okay, no matter what the situation. Even if a person feels strongly about their opinion, they should never shame someone, like this woman who pinned a nasty note to another woman's door.
Bullies like this might think laughing at someone else's expense is harmless, but it never is.
But despite the fact that this woman's son was bullied, rather than lashing out, this mom has taken action and gotten support from everyone.

Teeneshia Bush of Mobile, AL, went out to eat with her son at Wendy's. But everyone behind the counter began laughing at him, and he didn't understand why.

When Teeneshia's son looked at his receipt, he realized someone had written a horrible thing. Instead of his name, they wrote "lil ugly dude."

In fact, it wasn't just any employee. Teeneshia says it was the manager of that Wendy's location.

Furious that someone would ever treat her son like this, Teeneshia took to Facebook to write about the incident. It has been shared over 2,000 times already.

All of Teeneshia's Facebook friends were quick to defend her son and call him handsome. Many suggested she take legal action against the employees.

Ed Sheffield, the director of management services at Wendy’s, issued a statement on what happened:
"Wendy’s has been a part of this community for many years, and we were certainly disappointed to learn that one of our employees treated a guest in such a rude manner. We take this seriously, and we no longer employ this individual. When we learned of the incident, we immediately contacted the guest. We apologized to the young man and his mother and look forward to welcoming them back to Wendy’s again."
