All wild animals are unpredictable in their own unique ways. No matter how small, cuddly, or sweet they might seem on the outside, you should never approach one of those critters without proper training and protection for you and the animal. You just never know when that cute face can become your worst nightmare.
Of course, there have been plenty of totally innocent interactions, like the adorable boy who had a nice chat with some turkeys (from a safe distance) in his front yard. However, even something as seemingly harmless as a few gobblers can turn sour — just ask the poor mailman who deals with a fowl group of bullies on a daily basis!
Luckily, the two men in the video below don’t seem to be in any danger when a wild turkey walks up to them in the woods of upstate New York. The little dude doesn’t appear to be scared of them, either, as he jabbers away at them with his silly honks and hoots. They’re both baffled by the feathered fella’s bizarre behavior, but I think he’s just looking for some new friends!
It even looks like he’s trying to play a game of tag with one of the men as he follows close on the human’s heels while he runs in a circle and jogs down the road a bit. I’ve never seen anything quite like this, and it’s honestly making me pretty jealous I wasn’t there to meet this amiable guy myself.
