Make-A-Wish is one of those companies that I think everyone wishes they could be a part of. I can't imagine there being a better job than helping sick kids smile when they feel like they have nothing left to smile for.
All of the kids that I've ever seen covered have such a brave and contagious spirit about them, and it makes me wonder: why them?
Why anyone, if you think about it. These life-threatening diseases are a horrible heartbreak for families everywhere.
So when someone can take their time or resources in order to make these hurting hearts feel happy again, it needs to be done.
And once again, Make-A-Wish has gone above and beyond… In Hawaii this time!
Carl was battling leukemia at 11 years old, but he had a much older mind and heart if you ask me.
Not only does Carl have a brave survivor story of his own, but his goal is to be part of a brave survivor story, too. Carl wants to relive a historic time of war, and he wants to be put to every test imaginable!
This little boy is smart, determined, and perfect for the job.
Watch as he lives his dream in this historical reenactment of a WWII pilot's life. His parents must be so proud!
Please SHARE this little boy's incredibly brave story with everyone you know to show him some support!
