92-Year-Old WWII Vet Throws Opening Pitch At Seattle Mariners Game

When most people envision a 92-year-old, they probably don't imagine someone like Petty Officer, 2nd Class Burke Waldron. Although most people think of old age as a time for slowing down, Waldron is doing no such thing. If anything, he's speeding up!

Not only is Waldron a very active 92-year-old, but he's also a proud WWII vet whose service to our country will never be forgotten. While there is no way we could ever completely thank Waldron for his sacrifices, it's always nice to show appreciation whenever possible.

This past Memorial Day, the MLB's Seattle Mariners decided to give thanks to Waldron by asking him to throw the opening pitch at the game. Of course, most people in the crowd probably weren't expecting much, but Waldron came on the field with an energy that could be felt through the entire ballpark.

Not only did he run up to the mound, but once he got there, he threw a very impressive pitch that you're going to have to see twice to believe. This is definitely one of the most impressive things I've seen in a while!
