It's one of the biggest social faux pas anyone can ever do during a party with a group of people: double dipping!
While some people don't seem to mind it so much, there are others who will gladly throw away a newly opened can of dip if they notice someone pulling off the dreaded double-dip.
While it's certainly gross to think about a stranger double-dipping in something you plan on eating as well, is it really that terrible?
It might feel icky, but it couldn't possibly be a health hazard could it? The hilarious and informative team of fact-finders on the incredibly popular television talk show "The Doctors" decided to find out!
Through a bit of research, this team of medical professionals came up with a pretty unbelievable discovery. It turns out that double-dipping your chips into a public dip can have some pretty interesting results. And even if you wash your hands it doesn't seem to really matter all that much.
Even when a group of people took a bite from a chip and dipped the other end the results were pretty gross. Albeit not as gross as dipping directly back into the salsa.
