The World’s Tallest Dog Has Passed Away. We’ll Miss You, Zeus.

Zeus the Great Dane, who lived in Otsego, Michigan with his family, passed away this week.

Zeus was five years old, but because of his size, he died of natural causes due to old age.

Even though he reached 44 inches from floor to shoulder, Zeus was a lapdog at heart. His owners say one thing they'll miss the most about him is the way he liked to "sit on their laps" while they were grilling out on the porch.

In addition to being The World's Tallest Dog, Zeus also spent time as a therapy animal at area schools and hospitals.

Zeus, we will miss you, and hope you are making people smile up in heaven!
