You Can Rent ‘Godzilla’ Director’s London Mansion For $10,000 A Week

From the outside, this five-bedroom, five-bathroom house appears much like its neighbors. Inside however, the eccentric features make this property unique.

One bathroom includes an image of dictator Saddam Hussein in the shower, while there's a life-size wax figure of Pope Jean Paul II under the stairs.

It's owned by Hollywood film director Roland Emmerich, who is known for directing movies like Godzilla and Independence Day. He has put his Knightsbridge home up for rent — the home costs £8,000, or about $10,000, a week to rent.

The gorgeous mansion located in Knightsbridge, London, looks pretty standard from the outside. However, for $10,000 a week, it doesn't disappoint.

Spread over five floors, it has five double bedrooms, five bathrooms, a large reception, a drawing room, dining room, breakfast area and open-plan kitchen, as well as a separate kitchenette.

The property is truly unique. It houses a  life-size wax figure of Pope Jean Paul II hidden in a cupboard under the stairs.

This one may look pretty standard, but look closely. The paintings have actually spread to the floor, turning the whole room into a canvas.

If the inside wasn't interesting enough, Roland's backyard is like a jungle paradise in a big city.
