This isn't something that you get to see everyday! While hanging out on the grounds just outside the White House, members of the press and tourists visiting the historic site experienced something that very few ever will: a dramatic rescue of a brood of baby ducklings by two Secret Service agents!
With cameras rolling, the mama duck is seen hopping up and over a fence and onto the White House lawn, unknowingly leaving her babies behind. With the wall too high for the chicks to clear, the babies stay behind desperately looking for a way to reunite with their mom. Lucky for these babies, the White House security team swooped in and came to their rescue!
At first the men tried to coax the birds up with a makeshift ramp, but quickly realized their best bet was to use their hands! Watching these two tough guys, strapped with guns, doing everything they can to save this baby chicks is just adorable! It's so great to the human, heartwarming side of people!
