Make A Tabletop S’Mores Roasting Station At Home In Just Minutes

Summertime means outdoor BBQs, weddings, and celebrations galore. But if you're looking to take your party to the next level, you can turn up the heat on your dessert table by adding a campfire classic.

Though camping and s'mores go hand in hand, these treats are perfect year-round, and you don't need the wilderness or a fire pit to enjoy them. In fact, you can build a fun, large tabletop s'mores roasting station right in your own home, and it only takes a few minutes to put together. All you need to create this indoor or outdoor s'mores centerpiece is a planter box, Sterno cooking fuel, and gravel rocks or stones.

The DIY s'mores bar is fun and fabulous and will be a total crowd-pleaser — and fun for all ages. Once it's ready, you can arrange all the ingredients (graham crackers, marshmallows, and your favorite chocolate candy bars) on a platter around the station, along with some skewers and napkins to make this as mess-free as possible for your guests. (Make sure to place ingredients on both sides of the Sterno to allow people to assemble and cook s’mores from all sides.)

Trust me, guests can't seem to get enough of the chocolatey, gooey goodness of s'mores. This is a tasty, interactive, and easy way to entertain guests during any celebration or outdoor gathering.

1. Pour rocks into the box planter.

2. Nestle the Sterno cans into the stones.

3. Take off the Sterno lids and light.

You won’t be able to see the flame in daylight, but the cans are hot enough to roast your marshmallows to perfection.

Now you're ready to make s'mores.

I set out a platter of graham crackers, marshmallows, and chocolate. In no time, my guests were grabbing the marshmallow-roasting sticks and making some gooey, delicious s'mores in my backyard. Everyone loved the idea and couldn't get enough of it.

While I chose for the original Kraft Jet-Puffed marshmallows and Hershey's chocolate bars, you can get really creative with other flavors and make a delicious new ooey, gooey creation. For example, add fancier varieties of chocolate bars, dried fruits, toasted coconut, Nutella, peanut butter, or caramel.

This cute creation will make your party or wedding reception one that your guests will surely remember.

Yum! Now, who is hungry?

These Sterno cans will burn for about two hours. When you are done roasting, simply replace the cap and make sure the flame is out.
