Chuckie and Rusty were found huddled up together in a covered crate left outside in the bitter cold. They were so matted down with dirt and feces that they weren't even recognizable as dogs. When this wonderful rescue group took them in, Chuckie and Rusty were groomed for the first time in so long, and were actually able to see – which they hadn't been able to properly do before. Locking eyes with Rusty for the first time made me tear up!
Once they shed their pounds of matted fur, life changed drastically. Chuckie and Rusty were able to play together, run freely on the grass – and now they've been adopted to a loving home!
