We Went For An Evening Dive, But NOTHING Prepared Us For THIS! AMAZING!

A group of divers were enjoying manta rays feeding on plankton off the coast of Kona, Hawaii when something that can only be described as fate happened. The group was on a night dive and had lighted the area to see the manta rays when a wild bottle nose dolphin swam over. The dive instructors noticed that the dolphin was in trouble and although they are normally advised not to get involved with the wild sea creatures, they decided to help anyway.

The dolphin had swam into the lighted area as a cry for help, because it was not easy for him to swim. He had a hook stuck in his left pectoral fin and was entangled in fishing line from his mouth to the fin. It was scary, dangerous and painful for the majestic sea creature. Since the dolphin had shown calm and friendly behavior, one of the divers freed the line around 4:00 minutes in. After the video ended, they were able to help get the hook out of the dolphin's fin.
