Shelby the cat is one of the "forgotten" animals that received the rare opportunity to have her story told. I hope this video will help others realize that elderly and disabled animals are not worthless creatures and that every animal deserves a chance to overcome their suffering.
This cat does not have it easy. Ten-year-old Shelby is both elderly and disabled. She has the inability to close her mouth and can't help but drool. Missing most of her teeth, Shelby was a cat no one wanted. She faced a certain death at the shelter until the amazing organization Best Friends Los Angeles saved her life. Best Friends lovingly tended to her medical needs and within a few short months she was adopted by Tania and her daughter, Madison, who fell in love with her and brought her home. Shelby's story proves no living creature is broken. I am so inspired by her incredible story.
If you believe that every animal deserves the chance to be loved, please SHARE this elderly and disabled cat's story to help other animals in need.
