We all need a little pick me up every once in awhile, and I know just where to find it: at Tim's Place, the worlds first and only restaurant that serves up great food, smiles, and free hugs. The best part about this restaurant is owner Tim Harris, who happens to be the country's only restaurant owner with Down's Syndrome. The joy he gets from spreading the message of love will put a HUGE smile on your face.
Tim's Place, which is located in Albuquerque, NM, is open 7 days a week. Tim walks around to every single guest offering up great compliments and free hugs in order to make people feel happy and special. My favorite part of the whole video though is watching him go into work each day — hysterical!
Tim isn't just an amazing restaurant owner — he's also a Special Olympian who just so happens to have more medals than Michael Phelps! He's amazing!
