A War Vet’s Wheelchair Broke In The Middle Of A Store. You Won’t Believe What Happened Next.

Michael Sulsona was waiting for a new wheelchair from the Veteran's Affairs office for two years. A Vietnma vet who lost both his legs after stepping on a landmine, Sulsona had to deal with his only mode of transportation breaking down often. One day, his wheelchair broke down in the middle of a Lowe's department store. When three Lowe's workers realized what had happened, they told him they were going to fix his wheelchair for good. Forty-five minutes later, Michael Sulsona had a working wheelchair.

"We're not leaving here until the wheelchair is fixed" the three guys reportedly told him, and Sulsona considers them "soldiers of good will."

After hearing about the story, the Veteran's Affairs office did give Michael a new wheelchair, but it's worth noting that it only took three unpaid volunteers 45 minutes to fix the old one. They had nothing to gain by helping Michael except the "honor" of serving him after his years of service. Heroes, all around!
