The Island Wildlife Natural Care Centre on Salt Spring Island, BC nursed 'Peewee,' a starving Northern Fur Seal, back to health. Now, watch at this adorable pup makes her joyful dash to freedom on BC's west coast to join hundreds of others as they journey between Alaska and California.
Peewee stole my heart, and I guarantee she'll do the same to you. Tentative at first, she looks at her heroes with a confused expression. "Really? You mean we have to say goodbye now?" But her hesitation quickly turns to elation when she realizes that that big, wide ocean is once again home — and her sprint down towards the water is pure triumph. If this doesn't look like a scene from a movie, nothing does. Thank you guys for rescuing this amazing baby girl!!
