As autumn turns into winter many of us are still dealing with those annoying piles of leaves throughout our backyards. While there are multiple ways to get rid of pesky leaves, one of the most dangerous and controversial ways is setting them on fire.
If the person burning the leaves is responsible and safe, it shouldn't be a problem. The smell is truly one of a kind, so if they constantly keep an eye on the flames, and make sure it doesn't spread out of control, everyone should be okay with it.
But the video below shows what you probably should never do when it comes to clearing leaves out of your backyard. The men in this video are certainly present, but we're not too sure what they'd do if the fire got out of control.
It turns out that they actually covered their leaves with lighter fluid before setting it all on fire. While it's certainly dangerous and not the smartest thing to do, it is pretty neat to look at. That being said, hopefully they got a stern talking to from their neighbors!
Luckily, no one was injured from this ridiculous tactic, and the fire was kept under control. However, this should definitely serve as an example of what you and your neighbors should not do! There are other, smarter, ways to clean your yard!
