Traditional living isn’t for everyone.
Whether it’s living in a Japanese-inspired tiny home in the middle of Oregon, or perhaps an unbelievable underground shelter, some people opt for a more adventurous type of lifestyle. And sometimes, it doesn't appear to be as bad as one might think.
For Bruce Campbell of Portland, a jet aircraft (a Boeing 727 to be exact) is what he calls home. The jet aircraft, which sits in a forest in Oregon, was once a Greek aircraft, hence the Greek translation of “toilet flush” in his bathroom.
“I can appreciate that some folks might feel a bit isolated or that it might simply strike them as an unusual living environment but for me it’s always felt completely natural,” he told Great Big Story.
Once he enters the jet through retractable stairs, Campbell has access to pretty much everything an ordinary home does. Aside from a bathroom and shower, he has a mini kitchen, a couch, and even a large desk. Of course he also has his own private cockpit in tact.
"It's a good environment," the "aeronautics enthusiast" said. "It really is."
Just wait till you see the inside of the jet aircraft for yourself — it's almost impossible to believe!
