Dads are supposed to protect us from all the scary things in the world. That can mean sticking up for their kiddos when they become the victims of cruel bullies or fighting off any of the imaginary dangers they dream up at bed time. Whatever the problem, we grow up seeing our daddies as our own personal superhero!
This dad was there to rescue his little girl when she saw something spooky, but that's also because he was the man behind the accidental prank to begin with. On top of their bravery, dads are definitely known for their unique brand of silly humor. This dad just wanted to make a cute shadow puppet for his daughter, but when she sees the strange figure on the ground? She is definitely not a fan! The poor girl clearly does not trust the dinosaur-looking shape chomping its mouth toward her.
I feel sort of bad for laughing at her precious reaction, but not too much since she instantly finds comfort in her dad's arms. "I got you, I got you," he reassures, scooping her up while she admits that yes, that was indeed quite scary. I don't think he'll be doing any encore performances for her any time soon, but I'm glad he managed to capture this one!
