When I was growing up, my family had a nightly tradition of watching Wheel of Fortune and Jeopardy! while eating dinner. Even when I go home to visit now, my family will gather and compete to see who can solve the puzzles the fastest or get the highest Jeopardy score.
I'm still waiting for the day I can actually beat my dad, though we're a pretty even match.
I think if either of us made it onto the show we'd do pretty well for ourselves. If we didn't win, we'd still solve a puzzle or two, but we're obviously no match for the contestant in the video below. I think he might be the smartest — or luckiest — contestant in the history of the show. He only needed one letter and suddenly, he's solved the puzzle!
Host Pat Sajak's expression changes from disbelief, to concern, to amazement in just a few seconds. Even the other contestants can't be jealous or upset for too long; they're just amazed.
