8 Of Etsy’s Best Handmade Literary-Themed Face Masks For Adults And Children

I don't know about you guys, but I have been amassing quite the collection of face masks over the last few months. Since it seems that many of us around the world will be wearing masks for quite some time, I thought it would be fun to have many options to choose from.

Some of these face masks are patterned, and I have options that are floral, striped, and rainbow. I also have solid black face masks (it goes with everything). And, lately, I've been getting into perusing Etsy for literary-themed face masks. When it comes to face masks, I have only one rule: They need to be washable.

I am a big Harry Potterfan , and I knew that if I was turning toward literary masks, that's where I needed to start. I found this Ravenclaw mask ($10.50) right off the bat and happily scooped one up. I also snagged my kid his own Hufflepuff version , but we have yet to debut them together. One note: Make sure these don't go in the dryer! As I found out the hard way, the letters will peel off.

It's been especially helpful to have fun, literary-themed masks for my son, since it can be hard to get kids to happily wear a mask on their face. In keeping with our Harry Pottertheme, I think these pleated masks ($15+) are a great option for kids of all ages. If you have young children, they might really love this Curious George-themed mask ($9) that comes with a filter.

Few things go hand-in-hand like books and coffee, which makes this particular mask ($8) perfect for anyone who enjoys both. If you prefer a slightly more solemn approach, this mask features only hefty tomes of knowledge ($12).

Alice's Adventures in Wonderlandis another family favorite of ours, and I think these two Alice-themed masks are especially cute! Some may appreciate the more traditional design found here ($18+), but I think this Cheshire Cat-inspired mask is pretty funny ($9.75).

Of course, no quest for a literary-themed mask is complete with mentioning that great quest series — of course there are Lord of the Rings-themed masks out there! My favorite is only $12 and asks a question that is near and dear to my heart: "But what about second breakfast? "
