Baron the German shepherd might be one of the smartest dogs there is.
What other pooch do you know that knows how to carefully load a dishwasher? Other than Baron, I’ve certainly never seen another dog do chores like that before.
And it gets better: Baron even makes a great workout partner. It’s hard to forget the video of the German shepherd helping his handler stretch on the floor and even do sit-ups.
I didn’t think it could get better than those. But, in the clip below, Baron does something even more unbelievable that makes me rethink all the simple tricks I’ve taught my dog. “Fetch,” “roll over,” and “get your ball” hardly compare to Baron’s impressive abilities.
The German shepherd approaches a toilet bowl and lifts the seat to urinate just like a human. So much for waiting to go for a walk! When watching this hilarious video, I couldn’t help but think about Mr. Jinx, the cat from Meet the Parents, who also uses the toilet in a memorable scene.
Also, just wait till you see what Baron does with his left paw at the :23 mark. I’m seriously in shock by how smart this pooch is.
