Princess Beatrice and Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi are ready to share their baby girl's name with the world.
In late September, the couple announced that they had welcomed a little girl on September 18, 2021. It is their first child together and Edo's second. Son Christopher Woolf was reportedly thrilled to become a big brother.
As many suspected, Beatrice and Edo did honor her close relationship with Queen Elizabeth in choosing their daughter's name. Beatrice shared a photo of her baby girl's footsteps to Twitter, along with her name.
" We are delighted to share that we have named our daughter Sienna Elizabeth Mapelli Mozzi," Beatrice tweeted.
"We are all doing well and Wolfie is the best big brother to Sienna."
Edo shared the same photo to Instagram with a heartwarming message of his own.
"Sienna Elizabeth Mapelli Mozzi Our life together has just begun, and I can't wait to see all the amazing things that await us," the proud papa wrote.
"Feeling so much love and gratitude for my amazing wife, baby Sienna and Wolfie. These are the days I never want to forget. This week, a friend said to me the sweetest saying … that with every child you grow a whole new heart
"A massive thank you to the Midwife and the amazing team at the Chelsea and Westminster Hospital. x."
Sienna joins several of her cousins in having a name that honors their great-grandmother. There's Prince William's daughter, Charlotte Elizabeth; Prince Harry's daughter, Lilibet Diana; Zara Tindall's daughter, Lena Elizabeth; and Peter Phillips' daughter, Isla Elizabeth. Sienna is the Queen's 12th great-grandchild.
Sienna will undoubtedly grow up close to her immediate cousin, August Philip Hawke Brooksbank. Eugenie and Jack's little boy is just 7 months older than Sienna.
Sienna may be 11th in line to the British throne, but that's not her only royal lineage. The little girl is also a nobile donna because her mother is a contessa through marriage and her father is a count by birth.
