Twin Gender Reveal Party Goes Up In Flames When Pyrotechnic Device Explodes In Scary Video

A twin gender reveal party just went terribly wrong. The good news is, no one got hurt, and it was definitely a memorable experience for everyone involved.

The scary incident took place when a pyrotechnic device, which was supposed to help Jenni Alarcon and Lucas Motta, a Rio de Janeiro couple, reveal the sex of their baby, exploded and burst into flames.

The couple had decided to go big for the celebration. They even hired a videographer, which meant the entire chaotic scene was captured on video.

The video captured the parents-to-be standing in front of giant letters that spell out the word “babies.” Almost as soon the pink colored smoke starts coming out of the device, the letter S bursts into flames. Guests can be heard screaming as the fence behind the letter also catches fire.

Luckily, everyone was OK. But the video also spread like wildfire, as gender reveal gone wrong videos typically do. At present it has 4.4 million views on TikTok.

Looks like the party was a hit. But maybe parents-to-be can learn from the scary incident. Perhaps we just stick to balloons and cake from now on?
