Bus drivers see a lot during their shifts in terms of strange behaviors and interesting people, but this is something that you hope to never witness.
This video shared by Wonderbot tells the story of a hero bus driver who called 911 after he noticed something alarming happening with a little boy.
Northern California bus driver Tim Watson may come across as an average guy, but his job title doesn’t quite cover everything he’s so bravely accomplished.
It seemed like an average day at work when Tim noticed a man in his 20s and a young boy get on the bus. He didn’t recognize either of them, and he didn’t think much of it at first, but he soon started to note their strange behavior. It appeared that the boy was upset and crying as the man was forcibly trying to restrain him.
As Tim tried to figure out what was happening between the two, he suddenly remembered a news report he saw that morning about a missing child. He got a really bad feeling inside his stomach and knew he had to do something.

According to ABC News, Tim decided to create a distraction and began asking passengers about a “missing green backpack,” only there was no missing backpack. He wanted to create a distraction so that he could pull the public transport vehicle over and notify the authorities.
ABC News reports that when the bus eventually arrived at its destination, the police were waiting. They apprehended the suspect and took him into custody.
