Alex Murdaugh has apparently received a multitude of love letters while serving time in prison for the murders of his wife and son. In many of the letters, women have professed their love for him. Some have even presumed him innocent of the murders, speculating that he probably knows the truth about what happened but is refusing to tell it.
"I think I love you," a letter from Nicollete K. said. This letter was reported to have been written to Murdaugh on March 12, while he was being held at the Kirkland Correctional Institution. "I think about you all day everyday. I swear on my life I'll never say a single word to anyone important or not important. I genuinely care for you."
"You didn't kill your family, somebody else did and you don't wanna tell it," said another letter, penned by Destiny H.
"I am here if you want to talk. Or vent. XXLacie," another one read.

Murdaugh was sentenced to serve two consecutive life sentences after being found guilty of murdering his 52-year-old wife and 22-year-old son back in 2021.
