82-Year-Old Woman Is Forced To Get A Job To Support Disabled Sons After Her Husband Dies

Sometimes, when life’s grind becomes all too consuming, we don’t realize that all of those hardships may have been setting us up for something good coming our way.

This video story posted by Wonderbot shares the tale of an 82-year-old woman who had to get a job at a supermarket to support her disabled sons after her husband died, and how a chance encounter with a generous mystery customer completely changed the course of her life.

After 60 years of marriage, Rosanna lost her husband to old age. He owned a small business and had been the breadwinner in the family, so in order to support her family, which included two disabled sons in their 40s, she began working at her local grocery store.

Rosanna herself suffered from health issues, including intense back pain, which was routinely made worse by her working long hours on her feet and lifting heavy boxes at the store.

One day while working, Rosanna found herself experiencing excruciating back pain and paused for a moment to try to regain her footing. When her manager saw this, he basically told her to get working or leave.

A few regular customers, including a wealthy man named Simon, saw this encounter and decided to step in and see if Rosanna needed help.

Pretty soon there were several concerned customers gathered around Rosanna, asking her how old she was and if she was OK. Rosanna appreciated their concern, but she assured them that she was doing what she needed to do for her two sons at home and she would be just fine.
