Whenever you find the man or woman you are going to marry, most of the time that person is a package deal. When you marry someone, you also marry their family. A lot of women out there are blessed with getting the ideal loving mother-in-law and some get the cliché monster-in-law. Thankfully, this is a story that puts monster-in-laws to shame.
Happily news network shared a video about Maria, a new bride from Ocean Gate, New Jersey, who was in the process of opening her gifts at her bridal shower. She was soon going to get married to her fiancé Blade Deaver and officially become Lori Deaver’s new daughter-in-law. With this new family connection, Lori felt the need to give Maria a heartfelt gift.
During the bridal shower, Lori handed Maria a present and told her to read the card. The card stated, “Maria, this gift contains the secret to Blade’s happiness …” to which Maria replied comically “I thought I was his happiness, but that’s OK!”
She continues, “When you open it, you’ll see everything he’ll ever need and if you give him 100% of what you see, I know he will be happy for the rest of his life.” Lori then signed the card, “Love, the OG Mrs. Deaver — P.S. I loved him first.”
Maria then reassures Lori by telling her that they can share him. I can already tell that the dynamic between these two is filled with love. Lori said that she wanted to gift Maria something with meaning to show her how happy she was that Maria was joining their family.

As Maria opens the gift, she sits back in surprise. You hear "awws" from her family and friends as Maria holds up the gift that was in the box. You hear someone in the background say, “Oh that’s a great gift!”
I won’t lie, I did tear up a little bit at that moment.
Maria then adds, “I’m like what else can make him happier? Except for food, his truck, and me?!” Lori Deaver knew exactly what she was doing, and what she did was amazing.
