Successful businessman George Miller was finally making the drive from Florida to Canada to visit his mother, Olivia. Olivia had been bombarding George with messages for weeks about how she felt like her son had forgotten about her.
George found it difficult to say no to his mother, so he told her that he would come to visit her within the week. He decided to drive instead of fly in order to give him more time to think because his mom came down pretty hard on him about not being married yet.
On their phone calls, Olivia would repeatedly bring up the fact that George was single, even though she thought he had everything any woman would desire.
About halfway through his car journey to his mother’s, George couldn’t help but notice a woman with a baby in distress who was standing next to a bus. He’s not sure why, but he pulled up beside her and asked if she needed some help.
“Could you please give us a lift to the city?" she asked. "My baby and I are stranded with nowhere to go.”
George welcomed them into his vehicle and soon discovered that the woman’s name was Lily and she was caring for her daughter Amelia on her own.

George was immediately taken by Lily’s beauty and he simply couldn’t ignore the idea that was forming in his mind. He divulged that he could provide a warm place to stay at his mother’s house if she agreed to go along with one thing.
George wanted Lily to pretend to be his fiancée while visiting his mom in order to help smooth things over and get her off his back.
