Uzo Aduba is having a baby — and the Orange Is the New Black actress says she's "so excited."
The 42-year-old revealed that she's pregnant at the 2023 Tony Awards, wearing an orange Christian Siriano suit and showing off her baby bump.
She and her husband, director and filmmaker Robert Sweeting, quietly got married in 2020. According to People, the couple held a secret ceremony in New York.
Uzo later posted about her marriage on Instagram, calling her husband "the best thing that ever happened to (her)."
On June 11, Uzo shared a video on Instagram to announce her pregnancy.
"What a blessing," she wrote in her post. "My husband Robert and I are so happy to enter this next chapter together as parents. I am beyond excited. I get to be someone’s Mommy! I know as the three of us continue to grow, our only, ONLY goal will be to love you, little one. My goodness. Look what God has done."
