Princess Charlene Reportedly Lives In Switzerland And Only Sees Prince Albert For Events

According to a European report, Princess Charlene and Prince Albert of Monaco supposedly have new living arrangements that work for them. In March, the couple formally denied claims of having separated. Now, the new reports say that they are living separate lives, and it is in their best interests.

Reports in German and French media allege the Princess of Monaco now lives in Switzerland and only sees her husband for "ceremonial reasons." The two spent the summer on a family yacht trip, but she has not since returned to the palace in Monaco.

This, of course, has many speculating on the state of the couple's marriage. According to the Daily Mail, "A source close to the couple told French newspaper Voici that the former Olympic swimmer and son of Grace Kelly are just a ‘ceremonial couple.’"

The report also stated that Charlene has promised to return to Monaco on official occasions and is now allowed to see her children more often. A source in German newspaper Bild also said that the couple are good partners and that they take turns taking care of the children.

The Princess of Monaco was reportedly seeking treatment for her mental health in Switzerland. In a previous interview, Prince Albert stated, "I'm probably going to say this several times, but this has nothing to do with our relationship. I want to make that very clear.
