Little Ernesto was abandoned as a baby, and his grandmother took him in without even a second thought.
Ernesto and his grandma didn’t have much as they lived in poverty in a structure made of scrap pieces of metal. Their home was built illegally on property that wasn’t theirs, but every day the pair would wake up grateful for what they had.
In order to bring in some money, Ernesto and his grandma would take to the streets to sell flowers each day. Ernesto had a plan for his future and that included being able to get whatever he needed to excel in his studies and to one day become a doctor.
One day, Ernesto happened to meet a content creator who took an interest in his life story and living conditions. When Ernesto showed him where he was living with his grandmother, the good Samaritan vlogger decided to start an online fundraiser to help the pair earn enough funds to build a safer home.

As it happened, the fundraiser raised over $50,000 for Ernesto and his grandmother. They were even treated to a shopping spree that allowed Ernesto to get all the toys and books he wanted and much-needed school supplies.
