Kelly Yakich, who was 41 at the time of this story, woke up with a sudden urge to go to the bathroom. The Michigan mom of three sprang from her bed and felt a burst of pain; she knew something was very wrong. Kelly and her husband, John, rushed to the hospital, where doctors performed an ultrasound.
There was no way she was pregnant, she thought. Kelly didn't have a baby bump, and she was still wearing all of her same old normal clothes. She hadn't had any clear signs of morning sickness. And to top it all off, she'd been consistently getting Depo-Provera injections, which is an active form of birth control.

But back in the doctor's office, the shocking truth behind Kelly's sudden symptoms revealed itself. Not only was she pregnant, but the baby — who had been growing behind her ribs, hiding right up against her back — was coming out!
Just one hour later, Kelly and John welcomed their fourth baby, a happy and healthy boy named Gunner.
In another strange twist, Kelly revealed this actually wasn't the first time something like this had happened to her.
