Cop Catches Little Girl Stealing $2 Shoes But His Heart Drops When He Figures Out Why

Even as a little boy, Che Milton always wanted to be a police officer. He had grown up watching many family members serve their communities, so even back when he was 6 years old, he wrote a letter sending out his ultimate wish to the universe to be a police officer one day in order to help protect his beloved city of Atlanta, Georgia.

His parents were always supportive of his dreams as they gifted him a toy police cruiser that he still has in his possession to this day. When he was 21 years old, after one failed attempt, Che passed the police entrance exam and was able to start living out his dream job.

Just a week on the job, Che received a call from a nearby store about an attempted robbery. Without a second thought, Officer Che made his way to the neighborhood dollar store with no idea who was going to be waiting for him.

According to CNN, when Che arrived at the store, he was met with a teary-eyed 12-year-old girl who had stolen $2 shoes that she wanted to give to her younger sister. She told the officer that even though it was such a small amount of money, her family still couldn’t afford to pay for them.

After hearing her story, Che’s heart immediately went out to this little girl and her family and he knew he needed to do something to try and help them.
