Aging is a privilege not everyone gets the chance to experience. This does not mean that it’s easy. Just ask comedian Amy Schumer, who recently posted a public service announcement on Instagram about this topic.
It appears Amy wants the youth of the world to know that life moves pretty fast. One minute you are young and hip, and the next you are debating which multivitamin is the most effective. Age creeps up on us all.
Amy posted a carousel of photos on her Instagram to illustrate her warning. In two of the photos, she is attending a star-studded event, the Comedy Central Roast of Roseanne in 2012. She is wearing a short purple dress and looking fabulous.
“Warning 20 somethings I looked like this at your age. Swipe. Life is coming for you,” she captioned her photos. The final slide is a grainy photo of her in a hospital gown hooked up to an IV. Amy shared a similar sentiment in her stories.

Many celebrities took to the comments to share in the laughs. Most responded with emojis. Paris Hilton responded with a heart-eyes emoji, Olivia Wilde with a skull, and Michelle Pfeiffer with a laughing image. “Hahahhahahhahhahah,” responded Amy Sedaris. It seems Amy struck a chord with these famous women. The funniest comedy is based in truth.
