Woman Known For Her Beauty Is ‘Eaten Alive’ By Scabies And Exposes Nursing Home

Rebecca Zeni served in a naval yard during World War II, became a model in New York City and went on to raise her kids as a stay-at-home mother. The charming and vibrant bombshell dazzled everyone with her beautiful face, porcelain skin and thick long hair. She was a successful and strong-willed career woman of the 1940s.

But age was less than kind to the former model. In 2010, Rebecca was diagnosed with dementia and diabetes and her daughter Pamela moved her into a Georgia nursing home. In 2013, Pamela was concerned when her mother developed what she thought was a rash.

The rashes worsened and spread across Rebecca's body. Doctors requested she be treated with medications, but court records showed the nursing home staff failed to administer them. That, unfortunately, was only the beginning.

Rebecca passed away on June 2, 2015 at the age of 93. By that point, her skin was covered in crusty patches and one of her hands had nearly turned black.

It wasn't until Rebecca died that Pamela discovered the nursing home knew much more than they'd been telling her and other families. Her autopsy revealed the pain and horror that was the last six months of her life.

Rebecca Zeni should have died with dignity, but as you're about to see, she was allegedly cheated by the for-profit nursing home.
