In December, 8-year-old Dillon Helbig wrote a book about Christmas and knew one thing: It just had to have a place on the shelf at his local library. So on his next trip there, Dillon snuck his book in and placed it on a shelf. Once he revealed to his mom what he had done, she insisted on going back to get the book, but they discovered the book was gone.
It turns out the library staff had discovered the book and loved it; now, over 100 people are in line to check out the book for themselves.
His father, Alex, told CNN that honestly, it's not a big surprise that Dillon did something like this. As he put it, "He put the book together in like four days. With him putting it in the library, we weren't surprised that he did anything like that. When he wants to do make something happen, he makes something happen."
