John and Sandra had been married for a few years when they discovered she was pregnant. The couple were ecstatic when they found out they were going to be parents. They hadn’t planned on a pregnancy so soon in their marriage, but they felt ready to take on this new phase of life.
Some pregnancies can test a couple, but this one brought John and Sandra closer than they’d ever been before. This meant when they learned they were going to have triplets, they leaned on one another and decided that it must be fate that decided they were ready to expand their family in a major way.
As Sandra’s pregnancy progressed, the couple decided to convert one of their guest rooms into a nursery fit for three babies. Before they knew it, nine months had passed and Sandra was admitted to the hospital to give birth to three healthy babies.
It took some time, but the couple quickly adjusted to life at home with three little ones. John tried to ignore it for a few months, but he couldn’t help but notice how none of his babies looked anything like him.
One night, he decided he finally needed to ask his wife the question that had been on his mind for weeks. When he sat down with Sandra and asked her if the triplets were his children, she immediately got very angry with him.
