Aaron and Emma Whittington fell in love in high school and had been together ever since. They were raised in a small town in Kansas and were brought up with traditional values but had also adapted their lives to modern times.
Both Aaron and Emma had successful careers and lots of friends and family whom they enjoyed spending time with, but they both wanted to be parents more than anything. Even though they decided to get married in their early 20s, they planned to wait a few years to try to have kids.
Even though the couple felt some pressure from their parents to begin their family, they vowed that they wouldn’t try for a baby until they were ready as they knew they would always have each other to lean on when it came to parenting.
A few years down the line, the couple welcomed a baby girl named Mya. When Emma held her daughter in her arms for the first time, she knew that she would do whatever it took to give her the healthiest and happiest life possible.
According to ABC News, when little Mya was 7 months old, she began to exhibit signs of “discomfort” that stumped both her parents and doctors. In a completely shocking twist, when little Mya was hospitalized for observation, what appeared to be a 2-inch feather popped out of the baby’s face.

The news outlet reports that the Whittingtons had noticed that the left side of Mya’s neck had started to swell and when they woke up the next morning, it had doubled in size with something that resembled a pimple on the end.
