Dad Barely Notices The Venomous Snake Hiding Just Inches From His Infant’s Crib

Becoming a parent is an incredible experience. Having children changes your life completely, and as challenging as it can be, it also adds a lot of joy, happiness, and fulfillment to your life.

Another thing that comes with being a parent? Constantly worrying about your child's safety.

Many parents find themselves thinking about potential dangers all the time, especially with toddlers.

One dad in Queensland, Australia, had his worst nightmare realized while he was vacuuming his baby's room.

When he moved the vacuum near the crib, he noticed a venomous snake lurking just out of sight. He quickly called a team of snake catchers, who responded to the house and removed the snake.

Keeping an eye on the snake, he gave us a call and I rushed out. The culprit was actually a mildly venomous yellow-faced whipsnake. See if you can find him in this photo!

Could it be wrapped around one of the railings? Maybe it's sneaking out of the diaper box?
