Ray Nicholson stepped out on the red carpet with his girlfriend, model Sara Sampaio, for the 2024 Vanity Fair Oscars party on March 10, 2024. And get this, many people harped on how much the actor looks just like a younger version of his dad, Jack Nicholson. “Last night at @vanityfair with my ❤️,” the 32-year-old model captioned a video posted to her Instagram account. She and Ray are seen smiling for the cameras, with Sara flashing a wide smile at her boyfriend in a portion of the clip. This was their first time being photographed on the red carpet together.
But more people were into just how much Ray resembles his dad.
"He looks like his dad when Jack was young btw," one person wrote in the comments.
"Spitting image of his pops," another person commented.
Others didn't seem to see the resemblance as much.
One person wrote: "I wouldn’t have know who he was unless you said it. He looks nothing like him."
"He looks NOTHING like his Father, but he has good taste in ladies," someone else commented. "DiCaprio looks more like Jack than this kid. ."

In a 1994 interview, Jack spoke about his son in an interview with Vanity Fair. "He does move like me. There’s a lot of body language on him. You don’t miss them Nicholson legs. Somebody’s got to get them, poor thing. They’re useful but short." Jack's most recent public appearance was at a Los Angeles Lakers game with Ray in May 2023.
