An article published in January of this year on RadarOnline claimed that actor Jack Nicholson was being reclusive and was suffering from senility. It cited a source who claimed that many in Jack’s inner circle feared he would die alone. Looks like those fears may not be completely founded, as Jack is back in action attending Lakers games.
On Monday, May 8, 2023, he watched and rooted for the home team to overtake the Golden State Warriors. The Lakers prevailed, scraping away with a close victory at 104-101. This was the second game Jack attended in just two weeks.
ESPN reports that Jack’s attendance at the Lakers game on April 28, 2023, marked the first time he had been seen cheering on his favorite team since October 2021. Before that, he was almost a permanent fixture at the Lakers arena. Many welcomed Jack back into the fold with open arms, including Larry David and LeBron James. The team even played a special tribute to him on the jumbotron, featuring clips of his most famous films and cutting to him sitting courtside.
Jack’s homecoming to Lakers games is especially heartwarming in light of his friends’ concerns.
"He's made it clear his home is his castle. But people just wish he'd come out of the house and pop up to tell them how — or at least reassure folks he's OK," one insider told RadarOnline. It looks like they got exactly what they wished for.

At one time, Jack was a well-known ladies man, and as a result he is a father of six children. He shares Jennifer Nicholson, 59, with ex-wife Sandra Knight. He shares Caleb Goddard, 52, with actress Susan Anspach. He and model Winnie Hollman share Honey Hollman, 42, but she was mainly raised in Denmark. He appears to be closest to Lorraine, 33, and Ray, 31, whom he shares with actress Rebecca Broussard. Jack is estranged from his youngest child, Tessa Gourin, 28, whose mother is Jennine Gourin.
